How to get here
We’re located in Rurrenabaque, one of the bigger towns in the Bolivian rainforest. To get here, we recommend you first travel to La Paz. From there, you can either travel by bus, airplane or taxi car.
Important note: if you do choose to travel by bus please be cautious, we always advise our patients that, if possible, travel by airplane or taxi car to avoid the La Paz- Rurrenabaque route by bus as the roads are poor and unfortunately, accidents do happen from time to time.
Taxi car
There is also the option to travel by tax car, these depart from the Terminal Minasa and cost roughly 350 Bs per person. The taxi cars have no set schedule and depart when full - the trip takes about 8 hours. If traveling by taxi car we also recommend traveling during the day time.
Airplane
At the moment, there are no regular airline routes scheduled between La Pazand Rurrenabaque. Please check EcoJet’s site for flights between Rurrenabaque and other cities in Bolivia like Santa Cruz and Cochabamba.

Buses depart from Villa Fatima in La Paz every day in the evening and cost around 70Bs one way. The. total ride can be between 10-18 hours with occasional bathroom and dining stops.
